We will be updating the kernel and applying package updates on instances in our Sydney (AU) data center to keep them running on the fastest, most stable and most secure foundations.

Unfortunately the application of these updates requires a reboot of our machines. This will cause short, but controlled, downtime for sites residing on affected servers. We anticipate an average downtime of 5 minutes.
